Whenever we travel, I like to capture as many memories as I can - but not at the expense of missing out on the realtime events and journeys; so instead of lugging around professional/ expensive gear, I have a little handy cam (that I absolutely adore) and take it on all of my adventures with me. Once we're back, I'll start cracking on an edit that lends itself to nostalgic watching so we can relive the moments for the rest of our lives. Pictures are great but, nothing quite beats seeing film of a happy moment with beautiful and reflective music assisting these emotions.
I hope you enjoy these moments as much as I do reliving them!
We stayed in a beautiful apartment a stones throw from the beach in Lagos, Portugal. Good weather, cheap wine and amazing friends - what more could you ask for?
I feel like seeing the Aurora Borealis is on most people's bucket lists and I just feel so greatful that I had the opportunity to tick it off mine. This trip will always be special to me.
One of the best places in Spain for food. We were certainly all 'tapased' out after our lovely sunny trip to Spain. Golden beaches and a thriving city; Barcelona offers it all!
We pretty much had just one day to experience this gorgeous city and we really made the most of it! Dodging mopeds and volcanoes - this place is never short of an adventure to be had!
We stayed in a treehouse in France just before Christmas! It was certainly the most festive I've ever felt. It was creaky in the wind but so worth it for the experience. Getting the ferry over was a nice touch too!
We stayed in a cave too! So amazing to live in a cave for a bit in the mountains with nothing but beautiful views and time to look at them. Lots of hikes and lots of beers - but certainly not at the same time!
Just outside Krakow is a gorgeous little town called Olkusz - home to my wonderful partner. This place is so rich in history and has so much to do! Just an hour away from Krakow where you can see the firey breath of the dragon Smok Wawelski!
An absolute hidden gem! Stavanger holds so much activity and beautiful landscape for travellers - I'm utterly shocked it's not more of a tourist destination. From the breathtaking views of the fjords from Preikestolen to the imposing Sverd i fjell monument, you will not be stuck for things to do in this wonderful corner of the world! This was definitely one of my favourite trips - Highly recommended!
